The Super Hex tool is a combination of a super shorty prong and an elongated body to accommodate a larger BB&F Ferrule. For the ferrules we started with 2" full length versions and removed the top 3/8" of the ferrule itself. The remaining 1 5/8" ferrule is pressed in place onto a fixed body CNC turned Hex Stainless tool. The ferrules are fixed in place so there will be no removing and interchanging. This was done because of the fact that the ferrules themselves have been modified and no standard version would fit properly. The tools themselves are 3 3/8" overall length
